More Newick Folk Public Events

Here are some additional chances to see the band over the next few weeks.
First of all we are playing our final busking session at Brighton Marina on Saturday 24th August. Karn will be joining Martin and Alan playing on the boardwalk outside Wetherspoon’s from about 12.
Saturday 31st we will be playing at Tractorfest being held at Osney Lodge Farm, Buyers Lane, Blindley Heath, RH9 8JH. This is raising funding for friends of Brooklands School. Again we will be playing at Lunchtime/Early afternoon. More details here
Sunday the 1st September finds us back at the Crown as usual. We then have two parties where we are and a revisit to the Bravery Care Home Harvest Festival before we have two more public appearances.
On 15th September we are opening the music at the High Weald Dairy at 11.30 and members of the band will be playing throughout the day in different groupings. The festival is to raise funds for the roof at Horsted Keynes Church.
And finally on 22nd September we will be performing at the Stand up Inn in Lindfield as part of the festival there. We’ll be playing from about 6.00 – more details here.
Hope you can make at least some of these – we will of course be continuing with our weekly monthly sessions at the Crown, Newick every first Sunday of the Month at 8 PM – all musicians welcome.
