Busy Autumn Ahead for 2018

Here’s an update on Newick Folk Gigs.
So far this has been a good year, we’ve played various weddings and returned to the Fairwarp Fete and the Vintage Car day at Oakwood Farm. We’ve continued with our monthly pub sessions at the Crown in Newick and supported several local events. And we played a lively Ceilidh on St Patrick’s day at Ovindean village Hall.
Our new recruit, Rhiannon Daniel is fitting in well with the band. She celebrates a year with the band on violin and vocals.
Autumn Newick Folk Gigs
Looking ahead to the Autumn we are playing at The Lamb Inn in Pildown on August Bank Holiday Sunday from 12-4. We’re playing at the Stand up Inn at the Lindfield Festival at 7 on 23/9/2018. And we’re playing in the New Year at the Royal Oak in Newick.
Our monthly sessions continue every first Sunday at 8 PM in the Crown Inn, also in Newick and all musicians are welcome. These are unamplified sessions but we tend to quieten down for singers (apart from Alan of course).
We hope to see you at some of these events soon and look forward to seeing old friends and making new ones.
